Pirates have always held an amount of fascination to people. There have been countless movies and stories based on them, right down to the most recent hit, Pirates of the Carribbean. Almost everybody knows who Blackbeard was, and the Jolly Roger (the pirate flag with a skull and crossbones) is universally recognized as the main pirate symbol. Despite the fact most pirates were plunderers, thieves and murderers, people seem to be in love with the very idea of them.
This report will be dedicated to how pirates affected America and her surrounding countries.
